Newton School of San Miguel Celebrates the Purple Month in Its Community

Newton School of San Miguel proudly participates in the Purple Month celebration, a campaign dedicated to raising awareness about gender violence and promoting equality within the community. Throughout October, the school will conduct a series of educational and awareness activities for students, teachers, and parents.

Activities will include informative talks, empowerment workshops, art exhibitions, and documentary screenings addressing the issue of gender violence and its societal impact. Additionally, donation campaigns and support for local organizations working on prevention and assistance will be carried out.

The Principal of Newton School highlighted the importance of this initiative: "Purple Month is an opportunity for our educational community to reflect on gender equality and actively commit to fighting violence. It's crucial to educate from an early age to build a fairer and more respectful society."

Experts in the field have been invited to conduct workshops and provide advice to participants, offering practical tools to identify and prevent situations of gender violence.

The Purple Month celebration reinforces Newton School's commitment to social responsibility and the holistic education of its students, preparing them to be conscious citizens committed to equality and respect for all people.
